If so, I'd spend a little coin on some lowering springs (GMG?), wheels, exhaust, and air filters. It's a great spec, comfortable enough, sporty, etc. And in the end, it's $100K cheaper than a 599. 599 is an AWESOME car, but IMO not worth $100K+ more than your stellar-looking 430. Spice up the 430 and it will feel like new again. And you're still saving some for maintenance.

It has the challenge grill and is lowered to euro specs.
I think you're right, I'll end up probably regretting that expensive trade and missing my car...

The best thing to do is try and drive a 599 for a while to see if you like the way it drives. The 599 is blisteringly fast but drives completely different from the 430. IMHO, at the end of the day, you have to be happy with which one you are happier driving, some prefer 430s for their sportiness, and handling; while others prefer the 599 for its rocket power, luxury and elegance. Good luck my friend, but if it were me, I'd keep the berlinetta..

I was thinking about this earlier today, maybe you should hold on to the 430 for a few years and wait for a nice deal on a lightly used 458.

I'm not seeing the comparison between a 599 and a 458... Two completely different cars IMO.

^He has a 430, and is worried about missing it. To me, the next step up for a standard 430 owner is a 458, b/c most 430 drivers may not want something as extreme as a Scud. Just a suggestion...

I think you get the point of most comments. If you like the 430 there's no point trading it for a 599, unless you are looking for something different.
I would wait to drive a 458 too.

If the only options are:
1. keep the 430
2. trade-in for a 599
definitely trade it in.
option 3 (best option) is 458.
