Photoshoot: Giving a soldier a ride in my Scuderia
Chandler, an exceptional young man whom I had the honor of meeting through a mutual friend is about to be deployed for a year in Iraq. Being a huge F1 fan, one of the things on his bucket list was to ride in a Ferrari and so I was only too happy to give him that opportunity. It was the least I could do for a soldier serving our country and a fellow car enthusiast too. He barely smiles from what I've observed but during the course of the ride, I detected a slight smile which turned into a full on grin from ear to ear by the time we got back. After warming up the car, I was able to crack off a few quick jaunts up to speed before finishing things off with a romp through the tunnel with the windows down making sure to rev up the engine a bit. I looked over at Chandler and he was actually grinning. My friend followed along to take photos along the way.
Chandler, it was a honor being able to do this for you and I wish you safe journeys. I promised him a ride in my Porsche when he makes it back next year.
Not grinning yet

If you look close, you can see him actually grinning here
After the tunnel run on the bridge, a final parting shot

You should have let him drive it. Very nice of you JT.
Chandler, if you are on here, shoot me a PM bro. I spend about 9 months a year in Iraq, so maybe we can have a TS Iraq GTG if you are close.
