| Thought I would chime in and say something about the lower rpm portion of the curve...
I was there when they dyno'd this car, roughly 6' from it actually, and it wanted to break the tires loose not too long after the run was started. Even with 6 straps on the rear alone holding the car down to the rollers, it would still slip. Tym rolled into the throttle and slowly ramped up the power. The numbers at the bottom of the graph really do no justice of how the car handles on the road whatsoever. The dips on the HP and the TQ lines are representative of tire slippage as well...
It still does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds or better, and truly drives like a dream, not peaky or jumpy at all.
Last night, it ran a 4.76 60-130, and considering that it spun the tires twice in 3rd gear, and had a slow 3-4 shift, some major improvements are still on the table. |
