Its artistic, i don't hate it.
The nouveau riches arab sheikhs used to put gold on their Mercedes' grilles and doorhandles and etc... back in the 80's.

The detail work on this is absolutely incredible; I'd assume it was all done by hand?
Regardless, something can be incredible for the amount of effort that went into it and beautiful artistic work, but at the end of the day, it can be ugly as sin.
This is one of those things.

In todays price of gold that equals...
$944.54/ounce, 16oz/pound
944.54*16=15112.64*40= 604,505.60 +labor!
BUT
they used gold leaf, which i think is slightly cheaper lol
