GT3 wheels on C2S..

hi,

Does anyone have a picture of a carrera s with GT3 wheels??

Do they fit the carrera s (it should i guess considering they are both narrow bodies)?? using stock carrera s tires??

Atomic80 has GT3RS or GT2 wheels on his turbo (im guessing cuz these are wider bodies).. but my question was about GT3 wheels on a C2S (narrow bodies)

IIRC Jason's wheels are actually the GT3 ones on his Turbo. I don't think they'll fit an NB though.

Josh, GT3 is a nb, so should fit without a problem. However, due to aggressive offset of GT3 wheels, you will probably have to realign.

They should fit but think about the weight gain.

Porsche Factory Carrera S - 100 lbs, 0 oz.

8x19" 22 lbs. 4 oz.
11x19" 27 lbs. 12 oz.

Porsche Factory Carrera Classic - 104 lbs, 10 oz.

8x19" 23 lbs. 10 oz.
11x19" 28 lbs. 11 oz.

Porsche Factory Carrera Sport Design - 104 lbs, 12 oz.

8x19" 24 lbs. 3 oz.
11x19" 28 lbs. 3 oz.

Porsche Factory Carrera Sport - 106 lbs, 12 oz.

8.5x19" 24 lbs. 2 oz.
11.5x19" 29 lbs. 4 oz.

Forged Turbo Wheels - 102 lbs, 12 ozs.

8.5x19" 23 lbs. 8 oz
11x19" 27 lbs. 14 oz.

Porsche 997 GT3 - 110 lbs, 4 ozs.

8.5x19" 24 lbs. 5 oz.
12x19" 30 lbs. 13 oz.

Over the Carrera sports (the widest non-turbo or GT wheel available for a 911) all you would gain is 1/2 inch in the rear. But it will cost you 3 lbs 8 oz.

Dan

How about GT3 RS wheels on a C4S? Does that count? You are right about the weight but they look good enough that you don't notice.

with the wheels and the aero package, it makes it difficult to tell it apart from a reg. gt3
