As far as quality goes there is no comparison to GoPro HD.
1. The Chase Cam is standard resolution (no High Definition support!), where GoPro HD is full HD! As you can see in the above video where it is compared to a $4,700 Canon Pro Camcorder it does very well for its price point!
2. The GoPro HD can record in many different formats such as 720p, 960p and 1080p.
3. Along with that you can choose to record at 30fps or 60fps, Chase Cam only does 30fps I believe.
4. GoPro HD Motorsports retails for $299, Chase Cam package is $950. Plus if you buy from us you get the TS Package discount which everyone has been very happy with!! Please inquire!
5. GoPro wide angle view of 170 degrees blows away the Chase Cam at 120 degrees.
6. GoPro HD is much simpler to use. Chase Cam does give more options when it comes down to recording specific data, but most of us are casual road racers that just want to record how much fun we are having on the track or streets.
