 Uwe Gemballa Reported Missing  Uwe Gemballa (51) with a Porsche Gemballa Avalanche GTR-650 EVO The picture of the Gemballa Porsche hanging in my room was the earliest memory of a car that sparked passion and breathlessness at every glance. Over the years I have spoken to Uwe and most recently we were about to launch a great venture between Teamspeed.com and Gemballa. I have now learned that he has been missing for a week on his trip to South Africa , and now I understand why my friend hasn’t returned my calls despite us speaking almost daily over the last month. I am heart broken for his family and hope there is a logical explanation. If anyone has any news or information please post it here or PM me as soon as you can. | i know RACE! in South Africa are the only after market tuners doing Gemballa ... i will contact one of the partners to find out if he knows anything about this ... assuming Uwe went on a business trip to SA EDIT: spoke to the partners a second ago, both partners have heard of the story but have not been in contact at all with Uwe ... its a pity, was hoping i could help  hope there is a happy ending to all this ...
