Thanks to "Boxtser Coupe GTS" over at rennteam for scanning this in from Christophorus!

i'll add as of yesterday :

4.6 liter V8 with 550hp
2 electric motors with a total of 230hp
Total :740hp+
7 speed PDK
dry weight is lower than 1675 kilos
4643mm long
1940mm wide

costs US$1.35 mil (all tax and plates paid) in my country, likely US$ 650-700k in the states.
i'll have detailed specs later.
besides the $$$, it isnt that exclusive to get, i mean i can get one by 2015, start delivering by late 2014.

Hi John,

Thanks for the Info..sound great - but what Im a bit puzzled is the dry weight...in normal specification that would probably add up to 1700Kg - or in best case 1675 (as you mention "lower than 1675)..what Im trying to say that the 918 will be about 300Kg heavier than a GT2RS or similiar 997 GT variant. 300Kg is a hell of a lot...

Just for comparison, an Italian Magazine did a test of the new aventador..it couldnt be really faster than a stock 997 GT2 (no RS)...simply because its so heavy..1800Kg..

I spoke in depth to them at Weissach on a recent trip there . I will not be buying this vehicle , it is too heavy and underpowered for the price . The new F70 and the Maclaren f1 replacement will eat this alive .
It hurts me to say it but facts are facts

Hi wtdoom,

If I had the money I wouldnt buy it either, the weight has shocked me a bit too..

Besides, the C-GT - is raw and basic - and very beautiful..more beautiful then the 918..so I would always opt for the C-GT.

Congratulations for your black beauty..I wouldnt mind if you could ever take me for a little ride in it..I have a GT2 and GT3, I have drivn the GT2RS, I know other Porsche supercars too..but never have I been able to sit in a C-GT..

I was in Weissach last August for the same reason and I came to the same conclusion. I did not order the the 918 Spyder. I do not know about the new F70 but the fact is that 2103/14 horizon is to far for me and God knows what's the technology will be then!

Yes we were there for the launch and show events too . They were so nice it was a pity the car isnt more exciting .

I hear the F70 will be 1200 (ish) kg and 800+bhp .
Thats considerably faster than 918 . You can bet Ron wont allow the F1/2 to be slower than that .
Porsche cocked up , who wants a 4wd uber Prius ?
