I'll be in Houston Jan 13, 14, 15. We should all do a dinner again.q

Interviews went well overall, but after some thought I can't say I'm extremely excited about either opportunity. The first one would require me to travel about 90% of the time, which would mean giving up my dog and I'm just not sure I can or want to do that. The second job would require about a 1.5 hour commute each way everyday (work in burbs and I want to live downtown). The job seemed very attractive, but 3 hours in traffic everyday would really wear on my patience. I just don't want to make the mistake of taking a job simply for the sake of getting a new job and ultimately being in the same position again in a year or two, you know?
