Hey. I registered just to message you and seek your wisdom:

I already commute in a Boxster.
But I just stumbled over a Spyder for sale nearby. Drove it, just not on the fwy.
It is fanfreakintastic.

Am looking at the Spyder to be my daily driver, to commute 25 miles each way into the city, year round barring snow on the blacktop.

My only concern is the roof.

I'm in the Mid-atlantic of the USA, and it can be very wet here.
I also hear the roof is very noisy at speed.

I'd appreciate it if you'd share your experiences with the car, with its (IM)practicality.

Hey, I think I saw your car the other day. It was around 10:30pm the day after Christmas in the King of Prussia area near the mall, Porsche GT3 with "Real GT3" license plate...I think there was a number on the side rear window but I can't remember exactly what number it was. Was that your car?
