Trust me, the prices quoted here for regular maint. might seem very reasonable but in reality a 355 will be much much more expensive to keep on the road than an Infiniti.
It depends where you are located, in the U.K there are some good independent garages and so in Kuwait. Personally if I had a F355, I'd buy the parts that I need and repair it in a shop that I trust.

+1.....At least in the US....figure the major service every 5 years/15k miles will set you back $8-10k depending on your dealer...

355 majors are 3 years / 30k. They run $5-6k at a dealer, $3-4k at an independent, unless you're getting screwed. Most of the horror stories of 8+k majors included discovering a good deal of "other stuff" that needed to be fixed in addition to the normal major service.
The parts cost around ~$1,500 and the allowed job time per Ferrari is 22 hours.
The cars are fairly reliable, not just by Ferrari standards, so long as they are well cared for and driven often. Pay more for a well maintained car with a full service history-- it'll pay dividends very quickly over a "deal" car.
if you have ferrari money don't complain about service costs!
That is a rediculous statement, especially when talking about a 308, 328, 348, and now 355's and even 360's dipping below 80K. There are 355's out there for the same price or less than a new Expedition.
I really thought this board was above the "flashyness" of owning these cars. There are plenty of people out there who are average hard working guys and gals that could swing a 355, but a 8K hit would set them back

Definitely possible, but some of the major stuff requires some specialized skill. And parts are expensive no matter what. Not to mention the major requires taking the engine out completely, so it's certainly not a simple job...
from the article above the service costs don't look to be exorbitant. this is assuming you get a good one though, make sure that service book is stamped.
If you consider 5K to 8K every 15K miles reasonable...
