| BMW CCA West Summer Concours @ Carmel Valley, CA 2009 Great to finally make it down to Monterrey during so many fantastic events. Since both the cars we drove down were on display for concours judging both of us were stuck with the rifraf at BMW Concours ALL DAY lol...a few miles down the road at golf course rancho canada. Had a great time, though...saw some friendly faces and met some new ones. In all a great small event and raised our expectations for next year as both cars won and set the bar for Quail and the big boys concours italiano next year. pair of z8's  couple of teasers for now...   on to the sharks, maybe a CSL or two   some of the 2002 competition  the lineup  hartge  never seen so many in one spot...  M5 touring, and a pair M5 sedans   ~200 cars in attendance  id say this was my fav since im partial to the cars of my generation  and lastly congrats to alvin for 2 fantastic restoration builds!   one more of the 2002 turbo  more to come   |
