Green Machine: All the Shades of Green Offered by Porsche
#71
My own car (post above) is what is commonly referred as Lime Green (or gelbgruen in german).
Code for it is 137 or N8V9. Here N8V9 means it's the colour code for a targa where the V9 represents the black targa bar. If it was for a coupe it would be N8N8.
Chartreuse is quite different being much more yellowish...

the problem is, that Porsche used the colour name lime green for two different shades of green!!!!
There is N8N8 Coupe (N8V9 Targa) Code for gelbgrün, lime green, vert jaune, verde pisello refered to the Paint Code 137 as well.
and
There is 6767 Coupe (6710 Targa) Code for lindgün, lime green, vert tilleul, verde tiglio refered to Paint Code 226 as well. This colour is often as well called Chartreuse!
So there is a lot of confusion in old Porsche colours...
Can somebody help me with a pictures of cars in APPLE GREEN (daphne grün, vert daphné, verdino)?
Thank you for your help.
