That GTR was hustling! Great video, great editing, etc. ... but it doesn't mention that the Switzer car wasn't hitting target boost. Tym's been working from 3AM on with these guys for a few weeks now, massaging the tune.
All I'll say: wait for round 2.
I wanted to add this info, because I have some buds in Moscow which are involved in those races, but was not here. Jury's GT-R really had problems with boost, while second GT-R was in its best form. I do not expect that one more race will change anything, but still this GT-R was closer to Veyron than any other car raced against it, I wouldnt ever buy a GT-R without shipping it before even taking purchase to Switzer, they made so awesome job with this car.

From the comments on youtube I understand there will be a big race tomorrow called Moscow Unlimited with cars like Koenigsegg CCX, GT-R P800 and maybe Veyron plus like 80 more cars. If they all race from stand still the CCX probably won't stand a chance but with a rolling start it could be really interesting.

Just posted this on "that OTHER forum" so might as well include it here, as well.

Looks like Neil already answered this, but I thought I could shed a bit more light on it. Some of the guys in Russia have been waiting on some R&D projects to be completed, and there is some kind of communication disconnect between whatever shop is doing the work there and the guys here.
To be totally fair, there have been delays in the R&D process. Some trivial, some significant. Some avoidable, some totally beyond anyone's control (on both sides).
